The Stuart-Turner 10v Engine

This was the first engineering project I ever attempted.

It is a model 10v steam engine By Stuart Turner Ltd.

As it was made way back in 1980 and I only had hand tools and a tiny Unimat-SL tabletop lathe then,

A lot of the difficult/larger stuff was done by a family friend who was a toolmaker and my brother-in-laws who ran their own engineering company.

It looks a bit sad because it has been living on top of a cupboard and it never really got completed. But it does run smoothly on compressed air. It stands about 7 inches tall.
